In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Karen will introduce you to the vibrant world of Persian cuisine, where colors, flavors and aromas come together in harmony using grains, fruits, meats, herbs and spices.
Start by preparing mirza ghassemi, a flavorful eggplant dip with olive oil and spices. For the main course, you’ll create a rich Persian chicken stew with a walnut and pomegranate sauce, paired with fresh herb kuku — a Persian frittata — and Persian rice with dried fruit and a crispy golden crust. Conclude the class with a beautifully fragrant upside down orange turmeric cake.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
