In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Charuta will guide you while preparing an authentic Indian meal using traditional spices and techniques.
First, work with classic Indian spices to craft tomato shorba, a spiced Indian soup. Next, prepare meat and vegetables, including spinach, potatoes and mint, for a duo of kebabs. The centerpiece of the meal is chicken biryani, a beloved rice dish seasoned with an array of spices like vibrant saffron. For dessert, Chef Charuta will teach you to make kheer, sweetened rice pudding topped with a sprinkle of nuts.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
