Barbecue Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Dip

Description

Bacon, barbecue chicken and creamy, cheesy ranch dip team up in this hot appetizer that’s perfect for holidays, game time or anytime.

Ingredients:

  • cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 container (8 oz) sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dip mix (from 1-oz package)
  • 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced, green and white parts separated
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • Crackers, as desired

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In medium bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups of the Cheddar cheese, the cream cheese, sour cream and ranch dip mix. Spread evenly in baking dish.
  2. In medium bowl, mix chicken, barbecue sauce and green onion whites. Spoon evenly over cheese mixture in baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, then top with cooked bacon. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and bubbling at edges.
  3. Top dip with green onion greens; serve with crackers.
